Contacting Us

If you have a query or question about anything, you can contact us by using the 'Contact us' form (see top menu) or by email at: sales  [at]  lunesdale-pumps.co.uk. If your query is about an item you've already ordered, you will be able to select the order number and the item on the 'Contact us' form - you will need to be logged-in first. Alternatively, please email us at sales (at) lunesdale-pumps.co.uk.

Please Note: If you haven't received any emails from us (and perhaps you haven't received account creation or order confirmation emails either) and you've given us a free email account address to contact you by (eg. Hotmail or Yahoo) please make sure that (a) you've given us your correct email address, and (b) mail we've sent to you hasn't been treated as spam and put in the 'trash' or 'junk mail' folder by your email provider.


Delivery

In-stock items tems paid for by credit/debit card or cleared bank transfer will generally be dispatched on the same working day if in stock and if the order is received before 2.30pm. Orders received between 2.30pm and 3pm may be dispatched the same day or the next working day depending on the warehouse queue and / or any special packing (eg. palletisation) needed. Orders received after 3pm (or at weekends/bank holidays) will usually be dispatched on the next working day, providing the items are in stock - please contact us to check availability before ordering.

Dispatch of an order on the same working day as ordering is not guaranteed. 'Next Day' delivery indicates that the *delivery process* should take one working day after your order leaves the warehouse, it does not mean that your order will be dispatched on the same working day as you place your order. If you need an item delivered next working day after placing your order, please contact us first and we will advise you if that is possible.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been received, another when it is dispatched. VAT and delivery costs are shown in the cart and during checkout. You will sent an VAT invoice by email and can also download a copy in PDF format from the customer area of our website once your order has been dispatched.

Shipping shown in the cart will be based on 'Mainland UK'  until you've created an account/logged in. Once logged-in the correct shipping will be shown in the cart for the weight and your delivery area - our shop doesn't know where you're based until then.

We use the following carriers:

DPD - for items up to 30kg that don't need palletising. Max size: 90cm x 90cm x 90cm.

Mainland UK: - 3 to 4 working days. We can usually upgrade to next day if the item is in stock and you order early enough in the day - please ask before ordering.
Scottish highlands, islands / Northern Ireland: 3 to 4 working days - Next Day is not available.

Tuffnells - for items over 30kg or for items that need palletising (up to 500kg+) or are over 90cm in length (eg. lances, booms).

Mainland UK: 3-4 working days. We can usually upgrade to next day if the item is in stock and you order early enough in the day - please ask before ordering.
Scottish highlands: 3-4working days - Next Day is not available.
UK offshore: 3-4 working days - Next Day is not available.
Northern Ireland: 3-4 working days - Next Day is not available.

Please Note: we don't currently ship to Eire or the Channel Islands. We don't currently ship outside of the UK.

Please make sure someone is available to accept delivery at the delivery address between the hours of 9am to 5pm, or give instructions where the goods can be delivered to. All goods are tracked and will require a signature on delivery and cannot be left without one.

Any goods that are returned to our warehouse by the courier due to no one being available to accept delivery will be redelivered to the customer a second time but only after the carrier's return charge and redelivery costs have been paid by the customer.

Please make sure you examine the outer packaging of goods when delivered and ask the driver to record any damage. We will not be responsible for claim for damage in transit if you have signed for the goods as 'in good condition'. Unless you have asked the driver to record any damage at the time of delivery, you indemnify us against any and all claims for any damage you may make against us.

Any errors in the contents of your order must be notified to us in writing within 7 working days of the delivery date.

You will receive an email from us when your order is dispatched. You must contact us in writing within 10 days if you have not received delivery of your order within that 10 working day period. Our courier's proof of delivery (and/or our supplier's courier proof of delivery, as appropriate) to you will be the limit and end of our responsibility for loss or damage in transit or for any claim for non-delivery. You agree that once the order has been deemed to have been delivered (as shown by our or our supplier's courier proof of delivery) we no longer have any responsibility for the item(s) ordered and/or dispatched. You agree that you will indemnify us for any and all claims you (or your agents) may make against us for non-delivery if you have not notified us of non-delivery within 10 days of the dispatch date.
