Please contact us for returns information before returning any goods. Goods returned without authorisation will not be accepted.
All products sold on this website are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship by the manufacturer (and/or their distributor) for a period of 12 months - please see our 'Warranties' section for further information and conditions/exclusions.
If you need to return a product under warranty, please contact us first and let us know what the problem is - in many instances the problem may be solved at that point. If not, we will issue an RMA and provide details of where you can return your product for inspection and replacement under warranty.
If a product (or its packaging) seems damaged on delivery, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours) and keep any packaging the item arrived in for inspection, if needed. Please ensure you mark the carrier's delivery sheet as 'Damaged' next to your signature - writing 'Not examined' will not be sufficient if we need to claim against the carrier for loss or damage.
If an item is faulty on delivery, please contact us to obtain an RMA and instructions on returning the item for repair or replacement. If the item is found to be faulty on inspection, your return shipping costs will be refunded and the shipping will be paid to return the item to you after replacement.
If you have ordered correctly but we have delivered a wrong item (ie. one you didn't order) we will replace the item and reimburse you for return shipping by crediting your card or account.
If we have correctly supplied what you ordered, but you have ordered the wrong item, we will happily replace and / or refund the item(s) (at our discretion) if returned within 14 working days in the same new, unused, complete and undamaged condition as supplied. You will be responsible for the cost of initial outward shipping, the cost of shipping for returning the item to us, and the cost of repeat carriage sending you the replacement (if appropriate) which will will need to be paid for prior to re-dispatch. We reserve the right to deduct an amount at our discretion from any refund if an item or an accessory, manuals / literature, manufacturer's packaging etc. is returned used or damaged or is not 'as new' and re-sellabel.
In all cases of returned item(s), the purchaser is responsible for any goods returned until we (r the distributor) receive them back safely and undamaged. Please ensure that you have arranged compensation for the value of the goods you are returning (and ask for proof of posting/dispatch at the Post Office / from the carrier) and/or send by a tracked service in case the goods are lost or damaged in transit and you need to claim compensation.
Orders for stock items (ie. items which are kept as part of normal stock) can be cancelled up to the point of packaging/dispatch. Once packed, the items will be dispatched to the customer. Any request by a customer to return correctly supplied items which are undamaged/not faulty for credit or refund will be at our discretion, and if agreed, any refund will be less the cost of outward shipping and may be subject to a restocking charge. The customer will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods in good condition. (return costs of faulty or damaged goods excepted as stated above).
Orders for non-stock items which have been ordered specially for the customer cannot be cancelled once placed nor the goods returned for refund, credit, or any other reason unless faulty. Faulty goods will be repaired or replaced under the manufacturer's standard warranty terms.
We are primarily a business-to-business supplier. If you order from us as a consumer then under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013), a consumer purchasing goods at a distance has the right to cancel their order and return goods for refund (in whole or in part) within a 14 calendar day period beginning on the day after delivery. Cancellations must be notified to us in writing (by letter, or email to sales [at] lunesdale-pumps.co.uk) within the 14 calendar day period. This right of cancellation does not apply to goods purchased by a business or purchased for resale or use in any business, trade, occupation or profession. Goods must be returned within the 14 calendar day period together with all packaging, literature/instructions and accessories and must be in the same new (and resellable) condition as supplied and have not been opened, used, damaged, fitted, put into use or service, modified or otherwise marked. The purchase cost of any goods returned under this provision will be refunded only after the goods have been received and inspected by us. Any goods returned that are found not to satisfy the above conditions of 'as supplied' may be subject to a deduction from any refund made for any damage and/or missing items at our discretion. Return carriage costs will not be refunded.
